1. Our service and business
Kalyana Bandhan is owned by Lakshmi and offers matrimonial profile review, alliance-search assistance and family introductions, with a focus on South Indian families in Delhi NCR. The business address and support options are listed on Contact. This is a matchmaking service; it does not solemnise or legally register marriages.
2. Eligibility and accurate information
Candidates must be adults and meet applicable legal requirements for marriage. Our registration minimum is 21 years for men and 18 years for women. A family member may register only with the adult candidate's permission. Provide accurate age, identity, marital status and background, and promptly report changes. A pending divorce must not be represented as a completed divorce.
Do not impersonate another person, harass members, send unsolicited commercial messages, scrape profiles or publish another person's private information. We may restrict or remove misleading or abusive profiles and will consider related complaints through our support process.
3. Registration, payment and access
The one-time registration fee is ₹999. Submission saves your application; payment is a separate step. A verified successful payment enables the paid registration workflow, and our team reviews profiles before directory publication.
Access to your registration is currently linked to the browser session. Save your profile reference and contact our team if you lose access. Do not share session access or use a shared device without clearing your saved draft when finished.
4. Profile consent and contact privacy
You authorise us to use the information you submit for the service in accordance with the Privacy Policy and your consent choices. Optional member-directory publication requires separate consent and review. Other members see only approved profile details; their introduction requests are handled by our team. Personal contact details are not displayed in member profiles.
5. Additional fees, cancellations and refunds
A separate matchmaking or brokerage fee applies when a marriage is fixed through our service. The amount, paying party, payment trigger and related terms must be agreed in writing in advance. Registration does not authorise automatic collection of this fee. See Pricing & Fees for the distinction between registration and brokerage.
The Cancellation & Refunds policy forms part of these terms, including eligibility for technical payment issues and the three-month service condition. Cancelling a profile and receiving a payment refund are separate processes. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies available under applicable consumer law.
6. Personal decisions and service limitations
A reviewed profile is not a guarantee that every statement or document has been independently verified. Candidates and families should make their own enquiries before a commitment. We do not guarantee compatibility, a fixed number of introductions, a match or marriage. Do not transfer money to another member based on an introduction.
We are responsible for providing the service we agree to provide. We cannot control another person's decisions or guarantee uninterrupted availability. Any limitation is subject to applicable law and does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Questions, disputes and updates
Contact our team with your profile reference for service concerns, privacy requests or payment disputes. Please do not provide passwords or OTPs. These terms are governed by applicable Indian law without limiting access to competent consumer forums or other legal remedies.
Changes will be dated on this page. A later policy change does not retrospectively remove an existing refund entitlement or create an additional fee without agreement.
